Pre-monsoon Showers Bring Down Temp In State | Jaipur News

The rain brought down temperature, while the humidity level has increased considerably.

JAIPUR: Pre-monsoon rains have soaked 16 districts in the last 24 hours on Saturday. Ganganagar, Bikaner, Hanumangarh and Churu, received heavy rains on an intervening night on Saturday. The five districts of eastern Rajasthan, including Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, Alwar, Dholpur received light to moderate rains.
According to the Jaipur Meteorological Centre and water resources department, there was heavy rain in some areas of Sawai Madhopur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa and Tonk districts during the last 24 hours. Khandar in Sawai Madhopur district recorded the highest rainfall of 89mm.
The rain brought down temperature, while the humidity level has increased considerably. According to Met office, rains likely at a few places in Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhartpur and Bikaner divisions on Sunday.
In Jaipur light rain was reported at a few places in Jaipur on Saturday. In many areas including JLN Marg, Tonk, Road, Sahakar Marg, Adarsh Nagar, and Transport Nagar, there was rain for 10-15 minutes during the day. Kotkasim in Alwar district reported 80mm of rain, Bharatpur’s Nagar, Rupwas 71 mm each, Dholpur’s Sampu 64 mm Sawai Madhopur’s Chauth Ka Barwara 63mm, Dausa’s Mehandipur Balaji received heavy rain for 40 minutes. tnn
