Preventive Measures: 8 Dists Report More Dengue Cases This Yr Than 2022 | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: The health department has identified eight districts which have reported more dengue cases this year as compared to corresponding period last year. They are Kota, Hanumangarh, Sikar, Ganganagar, Jhunjhunu, Udaipur, Pali and Barmer. Directions have been issued to take necessary action including source reduction, anti-larval, anti-mosquito activities by making special plans in such districts.
Regarding the prevention and control of seasonal diseases like malaria, dengue and scrub typhus in the state, necessary guidelines were reviewed by the health department officials.
A senior health department official said that additional chief secretary (health) Shubhra Singh has issued directions to additional district magistrates of the respective districts, principal and controller of the medical college, head of the department of microbiology and medicine to take preventive measures.
