Procurement From Startups Limit Hiked To 25 Lakh | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The state government has increased the limit of procurement without tender from startups from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. CM Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to amend the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement (RTPP) Rules 2013 to encourage start-ups.
In the new Rajasthan Startup Policy, the number of work orders given to startups in a financial year has been increased to a maximum of six. Apart from this, startups run by women, specially abled, transgender, SCs and STs are eligible to get an additional work order. Till now, start-ups used to get only a maximum of three work orders.
The CM in the budget had announced increase in the limit of procurement without tender to Rs 25 lakh, for which approval has now been given by the finance department. TNN
