Tussle over 3 Ashok Gehlot loyalists stalls Congress’ Rajasthan nominees list
The names of three Congress candidates in Rajasthan, who were identified as responsible for the MLAs’ boycott of a crucial meeting last year, are causing uncertainty. The Congress central election committee had a serious discussion about the names of CM Ashok Gehlot’s confidants and ministers, but their names have been put on hold. The fate of these leaders will be decided by the party leadership, with CM Gehlot likely to make a last push for them. Instead of one of the candidates, there is a push for a Bharat Yatri to contest the Jaipur seat.
