Raj Foundation: Raj Foundation Starts Helpline Nos For Nrrs In Canada |

Jaipur: Considering the sudden diplomatic turmoil between India and Canada, the Rajasthan Foundation has started helpline numbers to support people from the state residing in Canada, particularly students.
The helpline numbers are +91 83060 09838, 0141-2229111 and 011-23070807. The foundation in a statement said that chief minister Ashok Gehlot had expressed concern regarding the safety of Rajasthanis over the evolving situation in Canada following which the numbers were launched and Rajasthan is one of the first states to issue helpline numbers for the same.
Rajasthan Foundation Commissioner, Dhiraj Srivastava said, “These dedicated helpline numbers have been issued to offer Rajasthanis in Canada a direct and reliable channel to seek assistance for various needs, including medical emergencies, legal inquiries, and general support. The Rajasthan government recognises the importance of ensuring that the community feels connected and supported.”

The helpline is available for retired and current employees to seek assistance during emergencies or when facing difficulties at home. BSL volunteers will visit the homes of retired employees or elderly parents upon receiving a call. This initiative, the first of its kind in the Steel Authority of India Limited, is expected to benefit hundreds of retired workers in Bokaro and neighboring areas.

The helpline number and WhatsApp number will allow cabbies to send their live locations in case of danger or when they are outside the city. The guild will also organize an awareness camp to educate registered women cabbies about their rights and how to handle difficult situations. This initiative comes after a woman cabbie was allegedly molested by a passenger. The guild aims to make the profession safer for women and encourage more women to join the industry.
