Raj Police To Go Paperless, Will Switch To E-file Module | Jaipur News
Jaipur: DGP Umesh Mishra on Friday issued detailed guidelines to police officers to implement the e-file module in a phased manner to make functioning of police department paperless.
Various departments have already started scanning paper files and uploading those on Raj Kaj, which is an integrated e-office of the government of Rajasthan.
Mishra issued the directions to all the additional director of police (ADGPs), commissioner of police (Jaipur and Jodhpur), all IGs, all SPs asking them to learn and adapt to the e-filling system and upload files on Raj Kaj portal.
He informed that the e-file module will be implemented in a phased manner in branches of police headquarters and their subordinate offices, all police range and SP offices and their subordinate offices.
“From January 30, the work of maintaining files would be done as per the work plan from the e-file module of the Rajkaj application,” he added.
State crime records bureau (SCRB) has been appointed as the nodal agency for the implementation of the Raj Kaj in Rajasthan police. tnn
