Rajasthan: Contractual Staff Want Experience To Be Counted | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Rajasthan government, in the state budget 2023-24, stated that the contractual employees, working under various departments would be regularised on a similar pattern as selection/promotion to the rank of IAS from other services. Under this, only one-third of their work experience will be counted instead of their total work experience.
However, the contractual employees associations demand that their total work experience of previous service should be counted in regularisation of their posts.
“Only five years of experience will be counted for those who have worked for 15 years. However, in Rajasthan no contractual employee has an experience of 15 years. Why is the government regularising our posts on a similar pattern as selection/promotion to the rank of IAS from other services?” said Ramswaroop Tank, state general secretary, Sanyunkt Sambidha Mukti Morcha, Rajasthan
“If a contractual employee has five years of experience, only a year and half of that will be counted as their work experience. We demand that our total experience of previous service should be counted instead of just one-third of the work experience, which is gross injustice with us,” added Tank.
