Rajasthan Farmers Debt Relief Act: Debt Relief Act For Farmers In A Month: Guha | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The state government will bring the Rajasthan Farmers’ Debt Relief Act to provide relief in debt burden and to stop the auction of farmers’ land in a month.
Principal secretary co-operatives Shreya Guha directed the officers on Tuesday that the Act should be prepared within a month.
She said in 2023-24 an interest-free crop loan of Rs 22,000 crore is to be distributed to the farmers.
She said interest-free loans worth Rs 3,000 crore will be distributed through cooperative banks to 1.5 lakh families in rural areas for non-agriculture such as handicrafts, small-scale industries, spinning-weaving, dyeing-printing and shops. tnn
