Jaipur: Woman sets self on fire in Muhana | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: A 35-year-old woman was killed after she poured hand sanitiser on herself and then lit a matchstick in Muhana area on Wednesday night.
According to head constable Satya Naryan, the deceased was identified as Mamta Chipa. She lived in Sanganer with her husband and three children.
“Her husband ran a fast food cart. On August 2, she went to her husband’s car and used hand sanitiser for self-immolation,” he said.
Police said the real reason behind the suicide was yet to be ascertained. “She wanted to go to visit her relative on August 2. But something else happened that day and she set herself on fire,” the official said.
Police said the woman succumbed to her injuries as she had sustained over 60 per cent burn injuries. TNN
