Rathore: Dotasra Slams Rathore Over His Ras Jibe, Terms It As ‘cheap Politics’ | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: State Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra on Friday hit back at the Leader of Opposition, Rajendra Rathore, over the latter’s allegations and asked him to discharge his responsibilities in line with the dignity inherent in his post. Dotasra said a senior leader like Rathore should not indulge in “cheap politics and personal attacks”.
Rathore had alleged two days back that Dotasra got his family members selected as RAS officers with the help of RPSC member Babu Lal Katara, who was arrested on Tuesday for his alleged role in the paper leak in senior teachers’ recruitment examination.
“If Rathore has any doubts about the merit of successful RAS candidates, he can get an inquiry conducted by ED and CBI as Amit Shah is a good friend of his. If Rathore gives an affidavit seeking an inquiry into the alleged manipulation in RAS selections, I would get an inquiry conducted by an officer of his choice,” Dotasra told journalists in Jaipur.
Commenting in a lighter vein, Dotasra also said he would send some money to Rathore to get a mike that he could put around his neck so that “he gets some advantage in his party”.
Dotasra declined to comment on the Pilot issue, saying that Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and KC Venugopal are all being apprised of the issue by the party’s state in-charge SS Randhawa.
