Re-Suspension: Gurjar Moves High Court Over Re-suspension, Hearing Today | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Suspended mayor of JMC Heritage (JMC-H) on Tuesday moved a petition challenging her re-suspension in the Rajasthan High Court. The state government has also filed a caveat in this regard. The court will hear the matter on Wednesday.
Vigyan Shah, counsel for Munesh Gurjar, said, “We have challenged the suspension order of the state government that was issued on September 22. The preliminary inquiry against Gurjar is against the provisions of Municipal Act, 2019. Also, the inquiry done on the same baseless allegations. The allegations are far from facts.”
“Also, the ACB issued a press release according to which Munesh’s husband was allegedly caught red-handed for accepting bribe. However, in the FIR lodged by the ACB, they had contradicted by maintaining money was recovered from Narayan Singh. And the recovery was made from the spot where her husband was not even present,” Shah claimed.
He further stated that it is mentioned by the petitioner that her re-suspension is a political vendetta.
