Jda Razes Four Illegal Colonies | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) on Wednesday demolished four new illegal colonies on about 23.5 bighas of private agricultural land in Zone-14. Officials said that these colonies were at an initial stage.
Dharmendra Kumar Yadav, chief controller of enforcement department, said that in Chandlai area, private agricultural land was levelled without the approval of JDA and without land conversion.
“We learnt that a new illegal colony was being set up by levelling grounds, boundary walls being constructed, and other illegal constructions being done overnight. Our team reached the spot and the colonies that were going to come up were demolished. The process of recovery of expenses of demolition proceedings will be ensured from the concerned,” said Yadav.

Thane: Builder held with illegal weapons; four others held for cheating him of Rs 40 lakh
The Thane crime branch arrested Surendra Patil, a builder-cum-Instagram influencer and former child artist from the Ramayana serial. He was found in possession of two country-made pistols and seven bullets. Patil was also cheated of Rs 40 lakh by fake cops, who were subsequently arrested. Last November, Patil had made a viral Instagram reel at Manpada police station, leading to his booking. The police laid a trap after receiving information about the illegal weapon and arrested Patil. During interrogation, it was revealed that he had been offered counterfeit currency notes in exchange for genuine currency, resulting in the loss of Rs 40 lakh. The police have recovered Rs 14 lakh and a Mercedes car from the four accused involved in the scam.
