RGHS: Govt Not Clearing Bills Under Rghs, Complain Chemists | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Chemists empanelled with Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS) across the state are livid over delay in payments of their bills. As their bills have not been cleared by the state government, patients (beneficiaries) are finding it difficult to receive cashless medicines, they say.
RGHS was introduced by the state government to facilitate the RGHS cardholder to avail medicines without cash along with medical treatment.Aiming to reduce the hassles of facilitating availability and buying of drugs and medicines for RGHS beneficiaries, the RGHS has empanelled private pharma stores for over-the-counter sale. But, over the past few days, the beneficiaries are facing difficulty in getting cashless medicines from these private pharma stores.
“It was going smooth, but for the past few days we are not getting regular payment. Still, we are putting efforts to provide cashless medicines to the patients despite our payments being delayed,” said Sachin Goyal, a chemist in Jaipur.
The scheme covers ministers, All India Service officers, MLAs and former MLAs, serving and retired judicial officers, serving government employees (whether covered under old or new pension scheme) and pensioners and family pensioners, employees and pensioners of autonomous bodies, boards, corporations and corporations.
