Robbers Loot: Robbers Loot ₹10 Lakh, Jewellery From Family | Jaipur News

According to police, the incident took place at 12.30am on Friday when at least six armed robbers wearing masks entered into the house of one Har Lal Meena.

“When the incident took place, Meena was not at his home and only his wife Sarko Devi and her nephew Samlesh were present. Two robbers stayed outside the house and four entered the house with country-made pistols. First, they wake up Devi and tied her with ropes,” said a senior police officer of Rudawal police station area on Friday.
They forcibly pushed the woman into another room of the house. Hearing her screams Samlesh got up. “Later, the robbers asked for the keys of the safes to which both the woman and her nephew denied. The robbers attacked them with knife and finally managed to get the keys of safes in the house,” the officer added. After decamping with cash and jewellery, the robbers managed to flee and the family members informed the villagers who informed the police.
“The family has lodged a case and claimed that robbers decamped with Rs 10 lakh and 4 kilogram of gold and silver jewellery,” said an officer.
Mridul Kachawa, superintendent of police, Bhararpur, said, “Prima facie it appears that some known persons had trespassed into the house. The family has given an FIR and we have initiated investigation. Some dispute within the family could be the reason behind the attack and robbery.”
