It also stated, “All district collectors have been instructed to pursue with the Hon’ble MPs to identify the five gram panchayats under SAGY (2019-24) by the letter dated: 27.08.2020, 04.03.2021, 23.03.2021, 08.06.2021 and 28.06.2021. Jaipur MP Ramcharan Bohra, who is yet to identify all the villages for the period 2019-24, said, “In the last term (2014-19), I spent Rs 18-20 crore for the development of Bhapura village under the Adarsh Gram Yojana. Dadiya village in Jaipur was the second village which was developed at a cost of Rs 13-14 crore. The third village which was turned into a model village was Vijaypura. Bari Ka Bas was the fourth village which was identified. Due to Covid pandemic situation, all the villages for the period 2019-24 have not been identified. I’ll have a meeting with the panchayats and after that we will take a decision on selecting those villages that require development.” Ganganagar MP Nihal Chand said that due to the lack of budget, owing to Covid situation, only one village was identified. “I have identified Dhanur village (for the period 2019-24), will select the remaining villages once we again start getting funds under MP-LAD scheme.”
