Sanganer Market: Women Steal Jewellery Worth ₹7l From Shop | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Jaipur police have launched a search operation after a gang of unidentified women entered a shop while posing as customers and made off with jewellery worth nearly Rs 7 lakh in Sanganer market under the Malpura police station area.
The incident occurred amid the hustle of Diwali shopping on Thursday night when the shop was bustling with customers.
“Five women entered the shop, and they distracted the salesman. One of them discreetly reached over the counter and took the jewellery box. After spending just 10 minutes in the shop, they left,” shared a police official.
A few moments after the women left the shop, the jeweller noticed that the box kept on the counter was missing.
After reviewing the CCTV footage installed in the shop, the gang’s actions were revealed.
While the jeweller was displaying the jewellery, a woman was seen reaching inside the counter and taking out the jewellery box.
Subsequently, she concealed the jewellery box inside her shawl and stood up.
