Tennis champion Sania Mirza and Parineeti Chopra’s friendship goes way back in time. There were rumours suggesting that the tennis star wouldn’t be able to attend her actress friend’s wedding. Tongues were set wagging when Sania took to Instagram to share a throwback picture with Parineeti and wrote “Congratulations, beautiful girl. My turn to give you the biggest jhappi.”

But Sania has now landed in Udaipur with her sister Anam to be by the side of her actress friend, as she steps into the new phase of her life with Raghav Chadha.
Designer Manish Malhotra has also landed in Udaipur. Parineeti is going to wear a Manish Malhotra creation for her wedding and the two of them have been friends since many years. In fact when the talks about Parineeti and Raghav’s engagement were doing the rounds, Manish was amongst the first people Pari met, probably to ask him to design her wedding dress.
Last night both the families enjoyed the pre-wedding bash that was organised by the couple. The theme was the 90s and famous singer Navraj Hans belted out famous Hindi and Punjabi songs. Parineeti was also spotted enjoying his performance.
The wedding functions would be starting in a couple of hours with Raghav’s sehrabandi at Taj Lake Palace followed by the baraat which will commence at 2:00 pm making its way to The Leela Palace. The jaimala is scheduled at 3:30 pm and pheras at 4:00 pm, followed by a grand reception at 8:30 pm.
While Sania and Manish have reached for Parineeti’s wedding, her own cousin Priyanka Chopra is yet to be seen at the wedding functions. Her mom Madhu Chopra and her brother Sidharth Chopra have already reached. Priyanka took to Twitter to wish her little sister on the wedding. “I hope you are as happy and content as this on your big day little one. always wishing you so much love. #newbeginnings,” she wrote.
