Jaipur: The police have registered an FIR against suspects who assaulted and injured a man in Shastri Nagar on Monday night. The man has been identified as Kishan Kumar. SHO (Shastri Nagar) Kishore Singh said that the incident took place over a small verbal spat over trash, and the police have arrested the accused. According to police, youth from one community attacked Kumar, who worked as a sanitation workerfor the municipal corporation.Police officers arrived at the scene. Kumar was admitted to Kanwatia Hospital with multiple injuries, police said. The family reported the incident to the police, and locals alleged that the Shastri Nagar police station did not respond promptly to the incident. In response, BJP candidate from Hawa Mahal, Balmukundacharya, reached the Shastri Nagar police station on Tuesday morning and raised slogans.
