School: Second Suspect In Dausa Constable’s Murder Case Held | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Dausa district police Wednesday arrested the second vehicle lifter wanted in the murder of police constable Prahlad Singh.
Additional SP (Dausa) Bajrang Singh stated that the police teams conducted numerous searches in various cities, including Gurgaon and Jammu and Kashmir, and arrested Saurabh Singh, also known as Dilip, a resident of Karauli district.
Saurabh is the second suspect arrested in the constable shooting case. On August 24, the police arrested Naveen Sinsinwar, just one day after the accused shot the constable and fled.
Police stated that both Sinsinwar and Saurabh had been residing in Jaipur, renting accommodation under the pretext of preparing for various competitive exams. However, their primary motive for staying in the city was to steal bikes from parks in the morning.
After stealing a bike, the accused would then drive it to Bharatpur. Initial interrogation of the two accused has revealed their involvement in illegal arms deals.
Constable Prahlad Singh was shot by Sinsinwar on August 23. The constable was part of a special district team that had intercepted vehicle lifters. The suspects abandoned the stolen bike and fled, prompting the police team to rush to the scene near Reta village. Two suspects were seen fleeing in different directions through a farm of bajra crops, leading the police party to divide themselves in multiple directions to arrest the accused.
The constable was in close proximity to Sinsinwar. When the suspect drew a weapon, the constable also drew his own weapon. Amidst the presence of bushes and crops that provided ample cover for the suspect, the constable crouched down to search for the accused, who then fired at him. Singh died during the treatment at the hospital while the two accused fled.
