Seven Held So Far In Alleged Trafficking Case | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Udaipur police has arrested seven persons in past one week in connection with a case where an infant was rescued from a woman under the jurisdiction of Savina police station in the district.
Police officials said that so far they have not found any links to trafficking of children in the case, but are not ruling it out. The case will be investigated from that angle too as an infant was rescued. “A woman was arrested around one week back and a 20-day old infant was rescued. During investigation, it was revealed that the woman was associated with an IVF centre. At times, children would be sold to childless parents, who could not conceive even after several attempts. Till now, seven persons have been arrested ,” said Vikas Sharma, SP, Udaipur. tnn
