Amitabh Bachchan turns 81 today and the day seems like a festival with fans from all over the world showering wishes on him. He began his birthday by greeting his fans just as the clocked striked midnight. Several well-wishers has gathered outside his house and he expressed gratitude to them. But fans were quite quick to spot the proud ladies of the Bachchanfamily who were enjoying this moment.Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aaradhya and Navya Nanda were seen taking videos of this moment. Aishwarya was video-calling Abhishek Bachchan to show him all that is happening since he’s out of the city, shooting for Shoojit Sircar’s next.

Many celebs also took to social media to pour birthday wishes for him and here’s what Shah Rukh Khan has to say. SRK shared a picture with Bachchan from their recent commercial shoot and he wrote, “Tough runs don’t last….tough runners do. And Sir you are the toughest of them all. Last 30 yrs just being around u and breathing the same air as you….has been a blessing. Wish u the best on your birthday….keep running & inspiring us. Sir and that Gym of yours… is unbelievable. Big B and SRK have shot for many movies together – right from ‘Mohabattein’ to ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’. When they recently shot for a commercial together, fans wished they share screen space together in a film soon. Interestingly, while Big B is referred to as Senior Bachchan by the whole industry and his Twitter handle also says so, director R Balki had a different opinion on Bachchan’s 81st birthday. Balki told ETimes that Bachchan should be called Junior Bachchan and Abhishek should be called Junior Bachchan because at the age of 81, Big B’s energy is like an 18-year old. Meanwhile, Abhishek is showing tremendous maturity as an actor at 46.
