Shooters: Shooters Met Each Other Just Hours Before Murder | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: A mere couple of hours before the collaboration that took the life of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the two shooters, Nitin Fauji and Rohit Singh Rathore, met for the first time on a secluded corner of Ajmer Road on December 5.
In this meeting, Rathore showed an image of Gogamedi to Fauji, a sort of visual confirmation of the directive from their overlords.“Both of them had never met each other before. Rathore told Fauji that the order was to shoot Gogamedi, confirm that he was killed, and flee,” said an official.
Rathore then told Fauji that Gogamedi is the same person with a protruding belly sitting like a maharaja.
Fauji, armed with a Zigana pistol, clutched a magazine loaded with 20 rounds, while an additional pistol in his possession had 30 rounds. In Rathore’s arsenal, a pistol accompanied by a magazine with 13 rounds, which they agreed completed the inventory.
They were then driven to Gogamedi’s house by their third accomplice Naveen Singh Shekhawat. The duo then also killed Shekhawat, a fact police attributed to the lack of clear orders from chief perpetrators Rohit Godara and Virendra Charan.
“There were ambiguities in instructions given to Rathore and Fauji about the fate of Shekhawat. Godara and Charan did not explicitly tell the shooters to spare Shekhawat, nor did they instruct them to kill him,” said the official.
