Shweta Bachchan Nanda pens a loving birthday note for her precious daughter Navya Naveli | Hindi Movie News

Shweta Bachchan Nanda has shared a priceless picture of daughter Navya Naveli on her birthday today. Wishing her ‘precious’ first born, Shweta wrote, “Happy Birthday PRECIOUS. Shine your light bright everywhere you go”. The adorable memory captured Navya as a toddler, twinning in white with her mom.

Abhishek Bachchan also penned a loving birthday note for Navya on Instagram. “Happy Birthday my dearest Navya! So, so proud of the lady you’ve grown to become. Love you. @navyananda,” wrote Junior Bachchan along with a pretty picture of Navya decked in a white traditional ensemble.

While Shweta comes from a family of acting stalwarts, her daughter has no plans of getting into films. Navya has often expressed that she doesn’t want to make a career in Bollywood and is reportedly keen to join her father in their family business. Speaking t a magazine, Navya had expressed that she will be the fourth generation from the family to take the lead and the first woman. According to her, it is a great sense of pride for her to be carrying forward the legacy left behind by her great grandfather HP Nanda. As part of her initiatives, Navya Naveli Nanda recently launched ‘Project Naveli’ which fights gender inequality.

Navya Naveli Nanda is often linked to Jaaved Jaaferi’s son Meezan. Earlier, while speaking to ETimes, the actor had said that it became awkward for him to enter Bachchan’s house Jalsa, it became tough for him to face his parents (Mr and Mrs Javed Jafferi) as they stared looking quizzically at him. He had said, “I last went there when they hosted a Diwali bash. The entire industry was there. Jalsa is actually a monument, you cannot be missed by the paparazzi if you go there.” He also clarified that Navya and he became friends because of his sister and Navya being best friends. “They both studied together in New York, plus, our family- hers and mine- are in movies. So we know each other.”
