SIT Recreates Crime Scene: Sit Recreates Crime Scene With Shooters At Gogamedi’s House | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Jaipur police brought the two shooters responsible for the assassination of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi to his residence in Shyam Nagar, implementing stringent security measures to reconstruct the crime scene Tuesday.
The SIT, led by Additional Police Commissioner (Crime) Kailash Chandra Bishnoi and Additional DCP (West) Ram Singh Shekhawat, arrived at the victim’s house at around 2 pm.Both accused, Nitin Fauji and Rohit Singh Rathore, were accompanied by the Quick Reaction Team (QRT). During this, they were provided with fake plastic guns and instructed to reenact the entire incident that led to Gogamedi’s murder on December 5.
A team of senior Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) scientists, including ballistic experts, was present at the scene, and the entire process was recorded on video. Fauji and Rathore were directed to indicate the direction from which they initiated the attack on Gogamedi. Police sources revealed that two dummy individuals were also placed, one in the same position where Gogamedi was seated and the other where Naveen Singh Shekhawat sat.
After receiving the plastic guns, the accused were instructed to identify the entry point and explain their escape route. However, due to security concerns, the two were not taken outside the house, and the entire reconstruction took place within the house and the room where Gogamedi was fatally shot.
Police officials stated that Rathore and Fauji were previously questioned about why they targeted Naveen, the person who facilitated their access to Gogamedi’s residence.
A police official mentioned, “The two accused demonstrated that they entered the house with Naveen’s assistance. Subsequently, a brief conversation ensued, after which they began shooting at Gogamedi. They claimed that they were given instructions to eliminate anyone attempting to intervene in Gogamedi’s killing.”
City police sources informed TOI that NIA would formally take over the case in the next few days and files related to the case will be sent to them by Wednesday.
