Sodala: 3-yr-old Hit By Speeding Van At Sodala, Critically Hurt | Jaipur News
Jaipur: A three-year-old boy is undergoing treatment for serious injuries after a speeding van hit him near his house in Sodala on Friday. According to the FIR, Advait Singh was hit by the van at 8.20am.
Sodala police station registered the FIR against the vehicle’s driver under IPC Section 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way), and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others).
“He is undergoing treatment in the hospital for severe injuries,” said Singh’s uncle Prem.
Sources said efforts are being made to track down the van driver. However, the accused has yet to be arrested. Police said they have retrieved the CCTV footage of the incident wherein they could see the number plate of the vehicle.
The family said the boy was seriously injured and is under constant medical observation.
