Some Resident Docs Join Duties | Jaipur News

Jaipur: While the leaders of the resident doctors’ organisations maintained that their strike against the Right to Health (RTH) Bill is continuing, some resident doctors started joining their duties at SMS Hospital and Mahila Chikitsalaya in the city on Saturday.
“Some resident doctors joined their duties today. However, the leaders of resident doctors’ organisations have not joined so far,” said Dr Achal Sharma, superintendent of SMS Hospital. At Mahila Chikitsalaya, some resident doctors also joined their duties.
The newly formed Joint Action Committee (JAC) of resident doctors of SMS Medical College announced that the executive committee of Jaipur Association of Resident Doctors (JARD) headed by its president Dr Neeraj Damor was dissolved in a general body meeting held on Saturday.
A faction of resident doctors led by Dr Rajesh Kumawat, who heads JAC, wrote to SMS Medical College principal and controller Dr Rajeev Bagarhatta, informing him that the executive committee led by Dr Damor has been dissolved.
