‘speed Up Dairy Booth Scam Probe’ | Jaipur News
Jaipur: To probe irregularities and corruption in dairy booth allocations, deputy mayor of JMC Greater Puneet Karnawat on Friday once again wrote to mayor Somya Gurjar. On June 15, the mayor had formed a four-member inquiry committee headed by licence committee chairman Ramesh Saini. The committee had to submit an investigation report within 15 days, but no action has been taken so far, said Karnawat.
“Even 15 days after the orders given by the mayor, the committee has not been able to start its work, which is a matter of great concern. It is clear from the notesheet written by the mayor that not only huge irregularities have taken place in the allotment of dairy booths, but corruption has also taken place. Due to the seriousness of the issue, the committee was formed. I request the mayor to instruct competent officials once again to start the investigation,” said Karnawat. tnn
