Jaipur: Dr Rajneesh Sharma has been elected as president of Indian Medical Association (IMA) state branch and he will replace Dr Sunil Chugh.
Dr MP Sharma was elected for the post of president elect. Dr NK Agarwal will be the treasurer of the state body of IMA. Dr PC Garg elected as secretary. IMA Jaipur president Dr Tarun Ojha said that the new executive will be effective in 2023-25.TNN

Portugal’s President has dissolved parliament and called for an election on March 10 after Prime Minister Antonio Costa resigned over a corruption investigation. Harjinder Singh Dhami re-elected as SGPC president
Harjinder Singh Dhami has been re-elected as the president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) for the third consecutive time. Dhami received 118 votes out of a total of 137, while his opponent Balbir Singh Ghunas received only 17 votes. Two votes were rejected. The SGPC elections took place at the organization’s headquarters in Amritsar. Dhami had previously defeated Jagir Kaur, the first woman to be elected as SGPC president, in the previous year’s elections.
