Sports Nutrition, Industry, Vaccine Controversies, India, France National Football Team: 3 Shooters, Including Minor, Give Statements Against Accused Coach | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Amidst an ongoing probe into alleged sexual misconduct by the Rajasthan Rifle Association (RRA) coach, three shooters, including a minor, have provided their statements to the authorities.
A senior official mentioned that one of the shooters is 15 years old, and the other two are 22 years old. Police believe the number of girls who experienced such ordeals could be more than five.
The allegations came to light on Sunday when an RRA official filed an FIR detailing the harrowing experiences of athletes, ranging in age from 15 to 22. Following this, the coach, Shashikant Sharma, was booked under IPC sections 376 (rape), 354 (assault or use of criminal force on a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), and the POCSO Act.
According to the FIR, Sharma invited one of the girls to his apartment in Jagatpura, where he allegedly forced her to consume alcohol, made her watch pornographic videos, and despite her resistance, sexually assaulted her. Another teenager, whose age was not verified, claimed that she was traumatised by Sharma’s sexual abuse, fell into depression, and eventually quit her training.
Initially, the victims lodged a complaint with the internal committee of NRAI (National Rifle Association of India). A complaint was also filed with the Rajasthan Rifle Association. However, no action was taken by the RRA.
