State Government: ‘gehlot Govt Didn’t Approve Prosecution For 600 Cases’ | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Former BJP state president Arun Chaturvedi claimed that the Congress government has not approved the prosecution of more than 600 officials who were caught red-handed taking bribes in the past five years. In a press conference at the BJP media centre on Monday, he said, “From 2019 till March 2023, the ACB had sent 2,475 cases to the state government for prosecution approval, out of which they approved 1,647 cases.”
Due to lack of government approval for prosecution, legal action could not be initiated against the officers. “It shows that ACB has done good work in the state, but the state government was busy protecting the corrupt,” he said.
