State Mulls Itis In All Blocks | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The skill and entrepreneurship department is planning to open government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in all the blocks of the state.
A total budget of Rs 1,000 crore will be required for the same, informed skill, livelihood and entrepreneurship secretary P C Kishan.
At present, there are 289 government ITIs in the state. The government may announce the opening of over 100 ITIs in the coming state budget.
“Government is planning to open state-run ITIs in all the 392 blocks of the state. About 100 blocks in the state are without an ITI presently. Setting up of each ITI would cost around Rs 10 crore. Therefore, the government will set up ITIs in all the blocks in two-three phases,” said Kishan. tnn
