Producer Boney Kapoor, Sandip Ssingh, screenwriter Mushtaq Sheikh, and actress Raai Laxmi among others were seen arriving at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute in Mumbai after the passing of Sahara Group chief Subrata Roy on Tuesday evening.
According to the company statement, Subrata Roypassed away at 10.30 pm due to cardiorespiratory arrest following an extended battle with complications arising from metastatic malignancy, hypertension, and diabetes.He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute in Mumbai on Sunday after his health deteriorated.
He played a significant role in the establishment and growth of Sahara One Motion Pictures. Under the Sahara India Pariwar umbrella, Sahara One Motion Pictures became involved in film production and distribution.
