Man, Two Daughters End Lives In Barmer | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: An elderly man along with his two daughters hanged themselves from a tree at Sanpa village in Sindhari police station area in Barmer district on Friday. A few hours before the suicide, there was a fight among family members, police said.
ASP Narpat Singh said Shankararam (55) his daughters Sua (30) and Dhudi (15) and son Khetaram had a fight on the issue of sending Sua to her in-laws. Sua had been staying at her parents’ house while her brother and other family members wanted to send her to in-law’s house. This led to an argument between family members and ultimately police had to intervene.
Singh said the fight had become so aggressive that at 5am, Shankararam, Sua and Dhudi hanged themselves. The body of Sua was brought down from the tree after her in-law’s came. In the initial probe, the suicide was due to family dispute. Sua has 8-year-old son.
Shankararam’s 22-year-old son Mela Ram had also hanged himself earlier.
