Sultry Weather: Heat & Humidity Hit People Of Hadauti | Jaipur News

Kota: While reports of heavy rain and floods pour in from other parts of the state, persistent heat and humidity for the past couple of days has left people in Kota, Bundi, and Jhalawar districts of Hadauti region restless, unable to find relief from constant clamminess.
Sultry weather prevailed throughout the day. While people eagerly wait for rain, electricity cuts compound their troubles, said a resident of Vigyan Nagar locality in Kota city. There was no electricity supply in Mahaveer Nagar-I for around 2 hours on Wednesday afternoon, said Yogesh, a resident of the locality.
The constant heat and humidity are likely to cause an increase in number of patients of dehydration, respiratory problems, and indigestion, said Dr L N Meena, advising people to eat light food and drink plenty of water.
The delay in rain is also becoming worrisome for farmers who are ready to sow the paddy crop but lack adequate water for it. TNN
