Jaipur: Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje slammed the Congress government for announcing multiple reliefs at the fag end of the tenure is nothing but an attempt to mislead people. She was addressing a public rally at Jhalawar and Jaipur on Friday. “The Gehlot government has opened an empty relief box. These relief announcements of Congress at a time they are losing out to the BJP are just to deflect people’s attention from their failures” said Raje.
She addressed public meetings in 21 villages and towns, including Pipliya, Garnavad Bhawanimandi, Guradiya Joga, Mishroli, Silehgarh, Karavan, Pagariya, Harnavada, Dag, Gangdhar, Chaumahla, and Unhel.She has started the political campaign for the candidates loyal to her. TNN

A total of 544 candidates, including Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Dr CP Joshi and former chief minister Vasundhara Raje, have filed nomination papers for the Assembly elections in Rajasthan. So far, 1079 candidates have filed 1462 nomination forms in the state. Ghangade has been booked for various offenses, including robbery, attempted murder, criminal intimidation, and assault. The police are also investigating if he has been involved in any other criminal cases in the past.
