SUV: Accountant Charred To Death In Kalwar As Suv Catches Fire | Jaipur News

Police said that Rahul Choudhary, the victim, was trapped inside the SUV and could not escape. According to the city police, Choudhary was a government employee, holding the position of an accountant.
A group of local residents rushed to the scene upon witnessing the SUV engulfed in flames. Unfortunately, by the time, the fire was extinguished, Choudhary had lost his life. A resident of Khatipura, Choudhary’s charred remains were recovered from the burnt vehicle. The police mentioned that the SUV was his personal vehicle.
An officer said that the incident took place shortly after 10am. The victim had left his residence with his wife at about 9am. He dropped her off near Khatipura before continuing on his way. “We were informed about the incident at around 10:30am that a vehicle was on fire. When we arrived at the scene, he was found behind the steering wheel, already charred,” a police officer said.
The victim’s wife identified her husband’s vehicle and was devastated upon witnessing the horrifying incident. SHO (Kalwar) Dharam Singh said that a forensics team was called in to examine the spot. The team collected samples for examination in order to determine the cause of the fire.
“It is challenging to definitively ascertain the cause of the fire. A report from the forensic science laboratory (FSL) may provide insights into it,” the officer said.
Rescue teams faced challenges in their efforts to open the SUV and retrieve the victim’s charred remains. “A postmortem examination has been conducted,” he added.
