‘Taali’ star Sushmita Sen says she had a friendly on screen chemistry with Salman Khan while with Shah Rukh Khan, it was romance | Hindi Movie News
Sushmita Sen told Indian Express that she has a different chemistry with both of them. The actress also joked that she taught chemistry to one of them as she spoke about playing Chemistry teacher to Shah Rukh in ‘Main Hoon Na‘.
Elaborating further, Sushmita added that she had a more friendly chemistry with Salman Khan. He was like a gunda friend type to her. However, with Shah Rukh, it was romance. When asked who she would like to work with again, the actress said that it will never come down to either of them. She would love to work with both of them, always.
Sushmita worked with SRK in ‘Main Hoon Na’ and Salman Khan in ‘Biwi No 1‘ and ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’.
After taking a break from acting, the actress made a powerful comeback with Ram Madhvani’s ‘Aarya‘ series. The actress garnered immense love and appreciation for her performance in the series. Talking about her comeback, Sushmita said that she knew that when she would make a comeback, people would advise her to do certain kinds of roles. However, she added that one needs to hold the capacity to say no to certain things. According to her, when she made a comeback, it was with a sense of responsibility, she wanted to headline a show, do an author-backed part. It has to be something solid. She wanted to do something for which she needed to prep, do workshops, and unlearn. The actress revealed that she approached three of the major platforms and they came back with amazing shows. With ‘Aarya’, it was a hands-down win. She concluded by saying that the script and then with Ram Madhvani coming in, it was a killer combination.
Meanwhile, the actress is currently basking on the success of her latest show, ‘Taali‘ where she essayed the character of transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant. The show has received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
