World Cup: Distressed By Financial Woes, Woman Hangs Self In Kota | Jaipur News

Kota: Distressed over financial problems, a 22-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her room in Durga Basti under Gumanpura police station in Kota city early on Tuesday.
The reason behind extreme step by the woman, identified as Rani Kumari (22) of Durga Basti under Gumanpura police station, was reported to be financial problem in the family, however, no suicide note was recovered from her room.
“Rani Kumari took the extreme step when her sisters were asleep,” said SHO at Gumanpura police station Bhupendra Singh.
When one of her sisters woke up to go to the loo around 2am, she found Rani hanging from the tin shade, he said.
She was immediately rushed to hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.
The deceased woman taught tuition of the students and worked part time at a tea stall for earning money, he said.
Police handed over the body to family members after postmortem on Tuesday morning and lodged a case under Section 174 of CrPC for investigation, he said.

Man accused of eloping with married woman from Kota 32-years-ago held
