Bjp Leaders Seek Guv’s Intervention In Checking ‘rising Graft & Crime’ | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A delegation of BJP MLAs and MPs led by party state president CP Joshi and Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore on Friday marched from the party’s state headquarters to Raj Bhavan and submitted a memorandum to Governor Kalraj Mishra, seeking his intervention to check what the party termed as rising corruption and crime against women.
Addressing party leaders earlier in the day, Joshi said, “The state’s reputation has been tarnished globally by the Gehlot government as it is at the epicentre of hundreds of scams, corruption cases, paper leaks, and crime against women and dalits. It is also seen that the Gehlot government has been protecting the accused. The rape and murder of a dalit woman in Bikaner is the latest example.”
Joshi accused the state government of failure to provide safety to the public during Cyclone Biparjoy despite an early warning of the disaster. Rathore said the Congress government would go down in history as one of the most corrupt governments in India. “They have not spared anyone, from students to farmers and from homemakers,” he said.
BJP central leaders like national president JP Nadda, Union home minister Amit Shah and defense minister Rajnath Singh will visit the state to mark the nine years of PM Modi in office, informed BJP state in-charge Arun Singh on Friday.
