Jda Takes Control Of 6 Colonies In Eco Zone | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The enforcement wing of the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) took possession of six under-construction colonies in the ecological zone of Amber under the jurisdiction of zone-10 of the civic body on Tuesday.
Officials said the first colony was coming up at an isolated plot of land measuring around 3 acres. This land is used for agricultural purposes and there is also a crematorium here. The second land is in Sayeed Nagar in Kho Nagoriyon. The third land of which JDA took control is in bordering area of Kho Nagoriyon and Jagatpura.
In the fourth case, JDA demolished seven villas in Lalu Nagar in front of the Sharda International School. The fifth land – on which JDA took possession on Tuesday – is in Jaisinghpura Khor. Finally, JDA acquired its own land in Sanwalia Dham Colony.
“We will not allow any new illegal colonies on land under our jurisdiction,” said a senior JDA official.
