Jaipur: A notorious history-sheeter is undergoing treatment in a hospital after a family beat him up when he tried to loot them in Alwar. The district police said Mahesh alias Massi was injured when he tried to escape by leaping out of the building on Monday night.
Police said Mahesh had entered the house of a family under NEB police station area. He tried to decamp with valuable items when the family woke up. The accused then tried to loot the family by threatening them with a knife.
As per sources, the family overpowered the accused and locked him up.
They also roughed him up when he tried to flee. The family told police that the accused had also threatened them to stay mum otherwise he will attack them with knife. TNN
