House Republicans demand proof of Biden’s brotherly loan
House Republicans are demanding evidence from President Joe Biden regarding a loan he allegedly extended to his brother five years ago. This request is part of their impeachment investigation, although it is not directly related to the corruption allegation concerning Hunter Biden’s involvement with a Ukrainian gas company. The House Oversight Committee has obtained bank records showing a $200,000 check labeled as a “loan repayment” from James Biden to Joe Biden, but committee chair James Comer is requesting additional evidence to confirm this. The White House has maintained that the transaction was accurate.
