Jaipur: Professor Anil Sahasrabudhe, chairperson of National Board of Accreditation (NBA), while giving a lecture at Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) on Thursday said that in the next 25 years, India will be the number 1 nation in innovation.
“In India, innovation and fast learning is in our genes as here an illiterate also knows how to innovate. India will be the most innovative nation,” he said. TNN

Global honour for Pune-based surgeon for innovation in robot-assisted surgery
Four Indian robotic surgeons, Dr. Aditya Kulkarni, Dr. Sandeep Nayak, Dr. Somashekhar SP, and Dr. Suhas Masilamani, have won top honors at the KS global robotic surgery innovation competition. The competition, organized by the Vattikuti Foundation, received 141 entries from 14 countries. Dr. Nayak was recognized for his innovative approach to removing thyroid tumors using minimally invasive robotic surgery, while Dr. Kulkarni presented a case of successfully operating on a patient with Median Arcuate Ligament (MAL) syndrome. The awards were presented at the annual academic symposium by the Vattikuti Foundation.
