Dengue Cases: In 10 Days, Raj Logs Over 1k Dengue Cases | Jaipur News

Jaipur: In the last 10 days, Rajasthan has reported 1,024 dengue cases. Jaipur has witnessed 200 dengue cases during the same period.
The health department officials said that they have already issued directions to the districts to take preventive measures.
The dengue cases have been increasing in different parts of the state.
Health department has written to the JMC and municipal bodies to conduct fogging in vulnerable areas. In Jaipur, the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) has started fogging in the areas where the cases of dengue are being reported.
No dengue death has been reported in the past 10 days. Since July 31, four persons have died in the state, two in Jaipur, one each in Jhunjhunu and Tonk.
In Jaipur, the number of dengue cases in 2023 have increased to 575.
Besides, cases of malaria have also been increased in the state. In the state, 920 persons have tested positive for malaria in 2023 so far, out of those 592 have been reported from Barmer. In the past 29 days, the state reported 1,600 dengue cases.
