Man Kills Friend To Loot ₹40k In Jaipur, Arrested | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Jaipur police arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly killing his friend to loot Rs 40,000 after getting him intoxicated.
DCP (East) Gyan Chand Yadav said that the police arrested Sonu Ali from Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh for killing Karan Bagoriya (22) after smashing the latter’s head with a stone on June 20 under the Malpura Gate police station area.
Yadav pointed out that Ali murdered his friend for Rs 40,000 which the victim had withdrawn from his father’s ATM earlier that day.
“The victim had travelled with the accused to an ATM to withdraw cash. The accused wanted to steal the money. The two of them went to a warehouse to consume smack,” Yadav said.
Once the victim was no longer in his senses, the accused attacked his head with a stone. The accused then packed the body into a sack and headed on a bike to throw the body on tracks so that a train could run over it.
According to Yadav, the accused’s bike began to fumble at a waterlogged area, and the sack fell off the bike near Nasiyon ki Dhani.
The accused abandoned the sack and fled on the bike. “We examined CCTVs and found that the accused was traveling on the bike with the sack. We spoke to numerous friends of the victims and identified Ali as a suspect,” Yadav added. Police said that the accused had fled from Jaipur when cops began searching for him.
