Jaipur: The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has given a deadline of March 5 to all consumers to clear their overdue lease amount, baring which the board has decided to take legal course and attach the properties.
“Consumers after taking over several institutional and commercial assets from the housing board have not cleared the outstanding lease amount. Under such circumstances, the board is losing a huge revenue. So, we have set the deadline of March 5 to realize the outstanding dues,” said housing commissioner Pawan Arora. The board gives several residential and commercial properties on lease for a certain period and often collects the lease amount in installments.tnn
