Liquor, 15 bikes seized; 3 held in Kota | Jaipur News

KOTA: Police, in a bid to curb vehicle theft and illegal sale of county made liquor, arrested two youths from Ridhi -Sidhi Marriage Garden area under Borekheda police station on Tuesday and on the basis of interrogation, arrested another youth from Darra station under Kanwas police station of the district on Wednesday and recovered 15 motorbikes, lifted from various places of the city, 912 quarters of country made (Desi) liquor and cash of Rs 5,040 from their possession.
Meanwhile, police on Tuesday night arrested two persons on Udaipur-Ahmedabad national highway for allegedly smuggling liquor worth over Rs 1.5lakh to Gujarat.
The two have been identified as Bhanwar Singh Rajput, a resident of Salumbar, and Khem Singh, a resident of Sukher, Udaipur.
Meanwhile, police on Tuesday night arrested two persons on Udaipur-Ahmedabad national highway for allegedly smuggling liquor worth over Rs 1.5lakh to Gujarat.
