Child Trafficking: Jaipur Emerges As ‘hotspot Of Child Trafficking’ | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The state capital is fast emerging as a hotspot of child trafficking, and Jaipur has topped the list of districts where the maximum number of trafficked children were rescued between 2016 and 2022, said a report released jointly by Games24x7 and Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation (KSCF).

Nine per cent of the total rescued children were in Jaipur, said officials. The report further said Rajasthan saw a surge in average trafficked children as compared to 48 in pre-Covid years (2016-20) to 99 in in post-Covid years (2021-22). TNN
