Tenders: Phed Cancels 3 Contractors’ Tenders Over Fake Certs | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Acting on the directives of a high-level inquiry committee set up by the state government, the public health and engineering department (PHED) has cancelled the tenders of two firms working on projects under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).
The department has also cancelled the tender of a contractor engaged in work under Bisalpur II project.
Ganapati Tubewell Company and Shri Shyam Tubewell Company had allegedly managed to bag tenders for JJM projects by submitting fake certificates of ICRON, a central government undertaking. A lawyer had first levelled this allegation by sending three legal notices to the department.
Following this allegation, PHED conducted an inquiry by sending an official of the executive engineer rank to Kerala.
The official brought a certificate supposedly from an ICRON CEO stating that the certificates submitted by the contractors are genuine, said sources. TNN
