Terrace: Fire On Terrace Of School Sparks Panic |

Jaipur: A major fire erupted on the terrace of a private school in Mahesh Nagar on Saturday evening. Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Rajendra Nagar said that a fire started on the terrace of the building due to the presence of stored thermocol and cardboard-like materials.
It is also suspected that some welding work may have triggered the fire. A dense plume of smoke emanated from the building, leading to the deployment of several fire tenders to extinguish the flames. Nagar mentioned that since it was a Saturday, the school was off, and there were no students present inside the building. when the fire officials added that they swiftly brought the blaze under control before it could escalate. The black smoke was visible from a distance, which further heightened panic among residents, prompting frantic calls to the control room. Authorities reported that the smoke was visible from the high-rise buildings in Tonk Road area. tnn
